The Cherries Nursery

         

"Hands on learning" is a phrase we use - ask us about this when you visit.

We welcome everyone in the community.

This is an opportunity for your child to have a head start before starting school; to learn to take turns, to share, to make friends and learn through play.

Your child can start from two years. Open during term time from 8.45 am to 3.30 pm.  Morning, afternoon and whole day sessions are available during school term time.

Consistent staff ensure your child can take full advantage of their nursery experience.  We use appropriate and up-to-date teaching methods.  Advice and guidance is provided for you as required.
 
The nursery has been specially designed inside to ensure a rich learning environment.  We have more staff on duty than even legislation requires!

The Nursery is in the grounds of Cherry Tree Primary School, Holt Drive, off Mersea Road.  We visit the Foundation Stage Class in the main school to assist children settling in. 

Children who come to the Cherries Nursery go on to attend many different schools in Colchester.
